It is with profound sadness that the Hicks Airfield Pilots Association announces that John Unangst died October 7, 2026, in an aircraft accident. He was 67.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

    operating out of properties on the airfield will be required to obtain approval by the HAPA board before commencing business. An application must be submitted to the HAPA board no later than 60 days prior to the requested commencement date of operations.
